Welcome to Hello World Learning.
Hello World works alongside communities to bridge the digital divide through access to connectivity, education, and power. Our community-built, solar-powered Hello Hubs create spaces where people can connect, share knowledge, and explore new opportunities.
This learning platform extends that work with free, accessible courses that help people build practical skills, grow their confidence, and turn learning into action. Whether you want to develop digital skills, explore a new interest, support your livelihood, or contribute to your community, you can learn at your own pace or alongside others.
We believe communities should shape their own futures. Choose a course, discover what is possible, and take your next step with Hello World.
Meet Hello WorldFree courses are labelled Free. Paid courses show their fee and enrolment instructions before you join. Creating an account is free.
Yes. Work through course materials at a pace that fits your day. Each course will explain its activities and any deadlines.
You can browse this platform on a phone, tablet or computer. You will need an internet connection to access online course materials.
Complete the required coursework and pass the final knowledge check. Some courses also require a staff-reviewed portfolio; their course information and published rubric explain this. Read the feedback, revise and retry as needed. The certificate unlocks only when all of that course’s requirements are met.
Open the certificate activity in Finish your course, or use Moodle’s My certificates page. Check your profile name first. The code or QR publicly verifies your name, course and award date; it does not show your email or practice work.
Certificates are included: there is no separate issuing charge for our current courses. Free courses remain free; paid courses show their enrolment fee. Certificates recognise course completion and the required assessments, not an accredited qualification or identity check.
