How you will learn
- Learn: read the short lessons and try the worked examples.
- Practise and save: save your notes or files in each unit. Return to improve them whenever you need.
- Check and revise: compare your answers with the guidance, revise your work and mark the self-check done.
Learn at your own pace, with no deadlines or trainer approval gates. Your saved practice is visible to you and authorised course staff; public sharing is not required.
The core teaching is available in the online lessons. PDFs and interactive exercises are optional. Keep your own copies of useful work.
Before you start
For beginners who want practical digital skills for everyday life, work and community learning.
- A suitable computer or tablet with document, presentation and spreadsheet tools.
- A place to save and find your practice files.
- Internet access for search practice, lessons and saved work.
You can read lessons on a phone. Some phones limit document formatting, formulas and slide editing; a written plan does not replace hands-on practice with suitable tools.
Life Skills is recommended preparation for confidence, communication and the sample CV. You may enrol directly in either course.
Paid software, sending an email, creating outside accounts, recording video and presenting publicly are not required.
